Brainless. Food is a more fundamental right than health care; so are sex, love, friendship and shelter.

Yet nobody, so far at least, has advocated (read "forced") insurance to guarantee food, friendship, sex, shelter or love.

Everybody is in favor of good health care, good food and good sex, but few of us, including Scandinavians, outside Russia, Cuba and Venezuela can imagine depending on the gummint to supply them.

Only a mindless socialist would propose insurance to provide us life's necessities, or worse, dependence on the gummint to provide them directly.

Universal good sex insurance, anyone?
