Yeah right.

Imagine two countries side by side with an open border, identical except that the first taxes the "rich" at a higher rate.

Which country will grow, invent and ultimately absorb the other?

Income inequality may be bad for the economy, but in any case it is unavoidable. What is really bad for the economy and the culture is legalized government theft of private property and income.
